Are you a parent of a 1st - 5th grader at HPBC? Then you've probably met our Director of Elementary Education, Linda Marks. After receiving her degree in Elementary Education from Cedarville University, Linda taught preschool for ten years at Franklin Christian Preschool and served in various children's ministries at Highland Park during that time as a volunteer. She accepted the call as our Director of Elementary Education in 1996.

Since then Linda's ministry goals and passions have been clear: to make the church experience so great that children want to keep coming back for more and thereby expose them to relevant Bible teaching and application, create a safe church environment for children, and support each volunteer so they can give their best love, time, and energy to each child. Our children's programs are awesome!

Married for thirty years to Larry, a School Psychologist, they enjoy their two adult children Ryan and Lindsay, married to Mike DiCuirci, and "Bella," an energetic golden doodle. At home in Royal Oak you could find Linda reading, gardening, or sewing, "with ample breaks for plenty of shopping."
