10-29-14

*Pray for Vicki & Dale Bishop (YFC in Detroit).  Vicki was hospitalized and treated for a reaction to her chemo treatments. She is now home. She just finished her first week of radiation treatments and has five more weeks to go. She is still experiencing painful side effects from the chemo.

*Frank & Jackie Allen (retired from SEND in MI) ask for prayer as Jackie works with a pain management doctor and has rehab treatments.  Pray that this would help her in her mobility.  Encouragement them with a note to:  The Fountains at Franklin, 28301 Franklin, Apt. *Sharon Samson (retired from SIM in MI) asks for prayer for a good representation of International Bible Lessons that she created at the ICEA Convention and for good contacts on Oct.

*Pray for Brian & Megan Meyers (WorldVenture in Mozambique).  Oct 10 = Evangelistic Training for "Roots Jam" Members (this group shares their faith through song in public venues such as the hospital, bus stops, and cultural center).

*Pray for the Uganda STMT that will be returning home this week after 2 weeks in Uganda helping with a medical clinic and Biblical teaching to pastors.  Pray for safety and energy as they get re-acclimated from jet lag, etc.

*Congratulations to Amos & Ashley Miguel (CRU on home assignment from Italy) as they celebrate the birth of their son, Lael Aquila John Miguel last Friday!  He was 6 lbs. 2 oz.’s.

*Susan Steele (Wycliffe) asks for prayer as she prepares to return to Black Forest Academy in Germany in mid-August to work as Director of Curriculum.  Pray for the remaining financial support ($200-400/mo) to reach 100%; for endurance to finish her graduate school research by the end of this month, and for the provision of an apt. in Germany.
