*Joshua Javery (SEND in Poland) asks for prayer that he will be able to get “registered” in his flat with proper paperwork soon. He needs to leave a legitimate paper trail which will help him in a year when he needs to renew his Visa. He has been placed in what he thinks is an appropriate placement for language class, but asks for prayer as he struggles with his reading and writing abilities. Pray for a new short-term missionary, Amanda, who arrived a couple weeks ago – that her adjustment will go smoothly. Please pray for Josh’s mom here in MI who is now in therapy for a ‘frozen shoulder’. Encourage Josh at: email@example.com.
*Pray for Ron & Marcia Baker (TX). After retiring from CAM Int’l. (now called Camino Global), they were placed on loan to HCJB about 15 yrs. ago. They have 15 stations along the 2,000 mile US-Mexico border and they enjoy working with the missionaries, staff and volunteers, spending time between TX, NM and AZ stations. They are thankful for the many listeners that are responding to Bible teaching on all of their stations. Also, their Spanish Language Bible Correspondence students number 4,000 now with 1,000 in prisons. Next month they will be working in all of the stations on the border of Mexico and AZ. Pray for their time in Eagle Pass, TX during August, helping in the construction of the 2 stations in one location. Pray that neither their health nor support shortage will not keep them from doing what they love to do. Marcia struggles with memory issues, RLS, sleep apnea and Chronic Venous Insufficiency in her left leg. Most of Ron’s problems have been corrected following his gastric bypass surgery 3 yrs. ago. Encourage them at: firstname.lastname@example.org. They will be with us during our GMF in a couple of months.
*Pray for Dick & Vicki Gascho (GEM in CO) as they return this week from Mumbai, India, where they taught in the Master’s program of Development Associates Int’l. Pray for these students to complete the 2 classes online over the following 6 months. Pray for Dick’s ongoing coaching responsibilities and coach training within and beyond GEM. The Gaschos will be with us as well for our GMF, beginning 4/29.
*Kevin & Meghan Armstrong (GCM in Ann Arbor) ask for prayer for all the students going on New Life spring break trips this week. Pray for growth and maturity, healing, friendship and fellowship with the Lord and others. Kevin, along with 10 others, will be spending the week in Detroit doing evangelism at Wayne State University.
*Pray for Suzy Grumelot (WorldTeam in Paris) as her team finishes their annual field retreat today. Pray that the various project teams would have good interaction and encouragement, and that God would bless their time of fellowship and planning. Pray for Cynthia, whose mother had been staying with them died very suddenly. Pray for Christine as she continues her radiation treatment for cancer. Suzy is encouraged in seeing trends of young people (like Baptiste & Emilie, Lorine, Claire, Gerald and others) who have such a passion to see their countrymen and women come to know Jesus and live in His community. These are Frenchmen whose lives have been transformed and want to invest their lives in spreading the Gospel. In early February, Suzy and her family had a scare when her dad ended up in the hospital for 10 days with blood clots in the leg and lungs. An x-ray showed a mass on his lungs and a subsequent CT scan was ordered. This, however, showed no mass. PTL! He is home now and on the mend. Please keep her mom and dad in your prayers.
