Shiloh is a worshipping community of Highland Park Baptist Church and is designed for people to experience God in fresh and meaningful ways through passionate worship, challenging and relevant teaching, and intimate community with others. Shiloh is a worship experience for everyone, however we are intentional about impacting men and women, single and married, ages 18 to 20-something.
As a ministry of HPBC our purpose is to lead men and women from the emerging generation into a progressive and passionate relationship with Jesus Christ. We have established three steps that we believe are essential for us to accomplish our mission to lead the men and women from this emerging generation into a progressive and passionate relationship with Jesus Christ(Matthew 28:18-20). It's really important that we keep moving forward in our mission, step by step!
Step one is to connect with our weekly Sunday evening worship gathering called SHILOH at 6:00pm in the Chapel. These gatherings are defined by relevant Bible teaching, passionate worship, and intimate community. Step two is to connect with one of our area Bible studies (called "community groups"). These groups are informal and casual Bible studies for all, and they exist to connect the emerging generation into biblical community (Acts 2:42). Step three is to connect with one of our spiritual formation groups (seeker, new life, discipleship). These groups exist to take men and women from the emerging generation to the next level in their relationship with God. Click here to listen to an audio message about Shiloh.
