Short-Term Mission Opportunities for 2010

JAARS/Wycliffe Bible Translators

Wycliffe’s JAARS campus is a great place to see and learn what God is doing around the world. This trip is designed to help our missionaries Kurt and Cindy Flanegan with their work on the JAARS campus renovating mission apartments and guest housing. This will be a multi task opportunity. Projects could include renovating a home, demolition of an existing bathroom and then rebuilding it, laying laminate and vinyl flooring, electrical, plumbing, sewing, cooking, and even office work. This trip will be built around the skills the team members have to offer. You will enjoy spending time with the missionaries and hearing their stories.

On-site prayer walks and worship times with World Team missionaries, including our own Suzy Grumelot, and French believers.

This opportunity is for medical personnel such as doctors, dentists, nurses, to serve in a clinic that is offered once a year at the Kampala Baptist Church. We would work alongside our missionary Connie Jarlsberg and offer the community free medical help.
