Our worship ministry exists to lead the congregation into intimate fellowship with God and also to train and equip leaders of worship. At Highland Park Baptist, we provide two services, the Exaltation service and the Praise service. No matter what service you attend, the worship will be engaging and passionate. The Exaltation service is composed of hymns, orchestral pieces and choir, while the Praise service offers a strong praise selection. The music may be different but the attitude and teaching remain the same. We attempt to direct our services as a response to God. We invite you to come and express God's greatness with us.

Ministry Opportunities

Chancel Choir During the Sunday morning exaltation Services, the Chancel Choir leads the congregation in praise and worship. With its 100 members, the choir provides great leadership by blending their voices and proclaiming the Glory of the Lord.

Orchestra The Orchestra leads many of our worship celebrations during the Exaltation services. The orchestra prepares pieces ranging from classical to hymn arrangements. They also accompany the Chancel Choir and they are an essential part of corporate worship at the church.

Praise and Worship Teams The praise team is composed of talented musicians and leaders in our church community. These individuals come together and use their gifts to lead our congregation in contemporary praise and worship each Sunday.
