Mentoring is the deliberate transfer of wisdom and life experience from one person to another. . . it is to support, encourage, strengthen, motivate, champion, love and nurture. It is purposeful, intentional, and planned. In Titus 2:1-8, God is clear and specific in how He commands the church body to be examples for one another. Yet, because mentoring does not occur naturally for many women, our goal is to put a simple structure in place to assure that it occurs for women who seek it. Mentors have been trained and are motivated, committed, and eager to invest in the lives of others for Christ. God has equipped this church to beautifully fulfill the commands He has given us. This fall, any woman interested in having a mentor can contact Cathy Tanana, Director of Women's Ministries, to complete a profile card and be paired with a mentor.
